Huawei plans to introduce a series of products to the market at its new event expected to be held this month. In addition to the Mate 70 phone series at the highly anticipated new event, the FreeBuds Pro 4 headset model, the first device in its category with the HarmonyOS Next operating system, will also be announced.
What is expected from the FreeBuds Pro 4 model?
According to the information, the product will have its own operating system. Huawei’s idea here will be to integrate this software into an environment with products that work on its basis. So not only headphones, new smartphones and even foldable devices are expected to be around the functionality of the system.
Still, it is not known for certain what new features the FreeBuds Pro 4 model will have. Its design, in principle, will be very similar to the previous generation model. The device will also support Huawei Sound.
HarmonyOS Next is defined as an operating system that will also come to devices in other categories such as PCs. In this case, the equipment with the software can be released early and available to the public in early 2025. Overall, the company is expected to implement an ecosystem similar to the ecosystem Apple currently has.
The company’s event is rumoured to be held on 26 November. In addition to the Mate 70 series and the FreeBuds Pro 4 model, Huawei is also expected to unveil the Mate X6, a foldable device expected to be announced with the brand’s artificial intelligence features and the realisation of the new assistant named Celia.
